Ukraine
2023 - Present
Responding to the war in Ukraine, we have delivered 250 electrical generators to those in need, with the co-operation of the local Church network. Our campaign now continues with a Ukrainian programme manager employed by the charity in the southwest of the country, who has the objective of identifying opportunities to provide further aid and manage the implementation with funding and resources from the UK and Ireland.

Water Drops

Clean water facilities were created in remote rural areas in Kenya/East Africa. Under the guidance of two experienced local missionaries, PCO identified the needs, selected the optimal solutions such as water tanks and solar powered bore holes, then financed and delivered the projects. Around 2000 people have been provided with a clean and reliable water source, without having to make a 25km journey on foot.

Rhythm
2008 - 2020
In response to the alcohol and drugs crisis facing young people in our town, we created a safe a alternative venue for them to spend their Saturday evenings. During the 11 years of this project, over 100 volunteers were recruited, 2,800 individual young people attended and 62 children were rescued from outside the venue, 16 of whom needed urgent medical treatment.
Rhythm expanded into a variety of other initiatives which encouraged young people to create a positive change in their local community and provided work experience opportunities to enable them to progress into full time work.
The Rhythm project has now been handed over to Youth for Christ.
